Alan & Sue’s house was such a beautiful setting and peaceful space to relax after a day at the beach. It was awesome to see Iguanas and monkeys in the surrounding trees of the property, the pool was also such a plus to space. This place was perfect for our group & we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Alan, Sue & Yira!

There were a few issues. The pool lights didn’t work for half of our stay so we couldn’t use it at night. Half of our party left early so they only could use it once. Was a big issue for us. The neighbors are doing HEAVY construction from dawn to well after dusk so no wildlife is around aside from bugs while this is happening. It also is annoying if you plan on just staying at the home for the day as metal grinding and hammering is basically non stop. We saw virtually no wildlife during our stay. The inside of the house is gorgeous however, we were comfy at all times, the place was easy to keep cool. The hammock under the house was my favorite spot to sit and read. It’s a perfect place to disconnect from reality. The beach being a short walk was a plus, highly recommended Taco Taco, Il Rustico, and especially Barumis’ which are all well within walking distance for dinner. It’s a 30 minute drive to Tamarindo, we went there alot, and about two hours from the airport.

Great host and co-host! Plenty of wildlife on the property, nice pool and great place for my friends and I to relax.

These hosts and the property manager could not have been more hospitable. They were all lovely to deal with, responsive, helpful and friendly. The house was absolutely lovely and exactly as described. It was the perfect layout for my husband and I and our three young kids. In complete transparency, the only thing that was unfavorable was construction happening immediately next door. This was completely out of the host’s control and we understood that, however we desired a bit more peace and quiet than we got. Otherwise I would LOVE to return back to this home! It was somewhat magical.
