This is our family home which will be available for you to use for the following dates: 10th -23rd July and 7th-20th August. We live in Staveley, in the Mid Canterbury region. Our home is in a rural setting with large lawns and endless views of the surrounding mountains and native forest. Located within half an hours drive from Mt Hutt Ski Field, Methven township (and new hot pools!) and the Ashburton lakes you are sure to enjoy a lovely family holiday exploring as well as relaxing. Staveley is a quiet village with a fabulous cafe, endless bush walks and a natural ice rink which will hopefully be open during your stay (if there is enough ice!).

Fantastic home in a stunning setting. Worked really well for our family of six. Lovely and warm, clean and comfortable. Bonus having the drying room. Highly recommend. Great communication from Leah too and lots of info on what to do in the area and where to eat.
A great warm, clean and modern home in a remarkable location. A short drive to Mt Hutt, Methvin and Ashburton. And the view from the house of the surrounding mountains is with the cost alone. Also the kids loved feeding our food scraps to the pigs.
A well setup house for the cold weather. Central heating to keep you warm and even a dryer room for all your gear.

Staveley is set in the foothills south of Mount Hutt. We look towards Mt Somers, Mt Winterslow and Mt Alford. We are lucky to have day or multi day hikes at our door step.
Coffee shop, church and hall in Staveley. Outdoor ice skating amongst native Beech forest located up the road; opens to public if it has been cold enough to freeze.

Methven is renowned for its relaxed lifestyle and transforms into a ski town in the winter. Great restaurants to dine at and new hot pools to relax in after a days skiing.
A short walk to the coffee shop or to the end of our road. Large, private area for parking (off the road) at the house.
