I really wanted to give this place 5 stars BUT Here are some things I observed I stayed in the suite which is the only one available in the b&b The room: the sheets weren't clean and had to be changed the first day I arrived because there were yellow stains. There were spider webs/spiders that I eventually killed because spiders bite and I'm not taking that chance. The wifi wasn't working and when I complained, a guy came upstairs to check the signal and turns out their wifi is run on a cellular phone . So if you need to get some work done, this isn't the place to book. The bathroom was okay. The tub and shower were outside. And were fairly clean but the mirror was damaged and needs to be replaced. The exterior is a hit worn down. The outdoor furniture needs to be replaced. There is a small art gallery here that is full of charm as well as a small library which could be good for reading or getting some work done if they'd fix the Internet issue. Overall the place is in need of a remodel, serious maintenance BUT I would actually stay here again if they'd fix what needs to be fixed.

Not only this place looks and feels good but also the staffs were very accommodating. We got the best room because the pool was right outside the balcony. The quiet neighbourhood is perfect and areas like seminyak is accessible by 10 mins away. It's true that the place you stay makes the impression of your holiday.

The stay at Scala Bed and Beyond was an unique experience. The hotel is great: small-sized, well-equipped with spacious rooms and friendly staffs. My friend and I stayed 4 days and most of the time we had the pool to ourselves (and we knew there were other guests!) We enjoyed the stay! Thank you!
