flew in needing Basecamp for mountain biking. this place is all about that. loved the bike wash and garage den with tools and stand. all decor was about mountain biking too. location awesome. close to several did and pub and bike shops. would definitely stay here again next time in area

This place was exactly what we needed for a big group of mountain bikers. Clean, accurate description of the listing. 10 min drive to the Pisgah National Forest. 25 min drive to DuPont and Kanuga. Bracken Preserve is close enough to pedal to. Cool, modern tech and features inside the house. Definitely covered all needs and necessities for a MTB vacation. There's plenty of great food options within walking distance from the property itself. Bonus that the pizza place is in the front yard, pretty much 👍. Would definitely come back with a group of 6-8 again.

If you're a cyclist, whether road, gravel, or mountain, this is your place! The house is equipped with all kinds of cycling features and decor. Five of us stayed there for a cycling weekend and we loved it. The rooftop deck is particularly nice, and the hot tub is big enough to swim laps in. The rooms are all comfortable and nice. We liked everything about it.

The Bike House (cousin? sister?) was great. My family and I loved the biked themed lighting, bedding, etc. The garage / living room on the first floor and bike wash / storage were very handy since we traveled with 5 bikes. Kitchen was spotless and the Nespresso machine was clutch (though there are several coffee shops in walking distance). We will certainly stay again!

The Lumberyard Bike House is quite a find! You can’t beat the location, it is so convenient. The house itself is super clean and it is oh so fun to discover the many bike related items. The rooftop is a fantastic place to hang out. And Ryan is the perfect host with almost instant responses and very friendly. One of the top Airbnb’s we have stayed.
