We had a great stay. We made great use of the hot tub, dart board and comfy TV room. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was really cute and inviting. The location was great - very near to Crosscut Coffee and Backwoods Brewery! A few things prompted a 4-star review. They weren’t huge deal-breakers, but definitely opportunities. The house doesn’t have central heating. There are cassette heaters in the bedroom, an electric fireplace in the TV room and a centrally located gas fireplace. The weather shifted on our second day and the house got pretty cold. Despite following all of the instructions to use it, the pilot light was not lit and we couldn’t get the gas fireplace to work. We messaged the host but didn’t receive a message for about 4 hours, and too late to get support in fixing it. There were extra blankets, though! The house was clean, with the exception of the overhead bathroom light/fan combos, which were both covered in thick dust bunnies.

The upgrades to the place were nice but still needs some final touches. Beds were not comfortable but were ok in every room. Many areas of the house are dark, this would improve with changing or adding light bulbs. Fix games. We looked forward to darts they're all broken but 1. Basketball hoops in kids rooms ripped out of walls. The house was big and had nice features but for price compared to many others we've stayed at not the best deal for whats offered.

Great place to stay! Very cute home and kitchen was super cute. Didn’t have a toaster but we made it work by broiling toast in oven. Would definitely stay again if we go to Carson again.
