This is a great house, perfect for an island getaway with the family. So many Airbnb's are sterile and like staying in a hotel. This house was homey and super comfortable. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and more. Very relaxing!

The house was very unique and the property is beautiful! The house was freezing when we got in and it took a full night to get warm once we turned the heaters on, but otherwise, it was a great central spot to explore all that Friday Harbor has to offer. A few more washcloths would have been nice, but overall the peace and quiet was refreshing.

This house is beautiful! Felt like we were staying in a tree house. Very private and peaceful property. The tub looking out into the forest was very relaxing. This would be a great place for a family getaway.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings in mostly old growth forest. Easy hiking road and trail around their property made it really nice and fun since we had two children and two dogs. It was a perfect place and forested property for everyone to walk off our thanksgiving meal! Speaking of … they had everything you could possibly want in a kitchen including a great Turkey roasting pan! Plenty of bowls, serving utensils and plates. It made cooking the dinner as if we were in our own kitchen! Spacious and plenty of great movies for the kids to watch. Extremely well equipped home. Everyone enjoyed relaxing in the huge soaking bathtub! Bedrooms were very spacious and had extra blankets which was nice. You feel like it’s your own second home on beautiful San Juan island the minute you step inside. Great place for writing or getting away from the fast paced city. Not exactly our situation with two kids under 10! But very family friendly and a trip we will hold close to our hearts. Thanks!
