Stayed here for my daughter's 7th birthday with family and friends. The space was absolutely beautiful, clean and felt so homey. Our stay exceeded any expectations I could have had. The host was also extremely nice and communicated well. I would stay in this space forever if I could.

This was our first ever Air bnb experience and Barbara has set the bar very high! She was friendly, responsive, and gave us great tips and recommendations for things to do and restaurants. She included so many sweet and thoughtful details (I don’t want to spoil any surprises! 😃) And the house!!! It is even better than the pictures!! From the listing we got a great vibe about the place and we weren’t wrong. We were two families with 6 total kids ranging in ages 5-12 and there was something for everyone! The kids loved the bunk room, the Benjamin Franklin loft with record player and karaoke machine, and of course the amazing ground floor with pool table, air hockey, toys, games and dollhouse. The hot tub and great movie-watching couches were a hit too!! It was a beautiful weekend and we bummed to have to leave the Getaway Chalet. We will definitely be back! Thank you Barbara!!

Barbara was an excellent host. Her home was exactly what we imagined. We had 3 families with a total of 5 kids and it was the perfect amount of room. Each couple had their own space and we never felt like we were on top of each other. We loved the fact how private the house was at the end of the street. Probably my best advice when leaving Barbara’s house to go to Montage Mountain is dont follow your GPS. Go out of the Big Bass main gate and your gps will correct its self. By doing that you’ll save at least 10 mins or so. Beautiful home and such a friendly host. Thanks again Barbara for sharing your home! The Kennedy’s

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! Everything positive comment and beautiful photo you see is 100% aligned with what we experienced. In group, there were 3 families including 5 children, ranging in age from 1-4 and there was something in the home for everyone. The children’s room was the highlight for the little ones. From the moment we entered they were sliding and playing on the bunk beds. In the evenings once they were asleep, the parents gathered for games in the upstairs loft. We all had such a wonderful time. Besides the home, Barbara’s level of hospitality was top tier. She went above and beyond for us, from setting up Happy Birthday decor to providing recommendations on the best places to explore. She was extremely friendly and accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We are already planning for next year. Book this place. You won’t regret it!

Myself and 2 other families booked with Barbara to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday. Walking into this chalet was exceptionally positive. It felt open, airy and bright. We felt at home right away. The whole house was very clean, smelled good and super cozy. Upon coming in we saw a birthday present for my daughter on the kitchen counter. Thank you Barbara for leaving little details like that to make our trip so very memorable. We had a lot of fun with the amenities. Kids had a blast with the air hockey table and pac man machine. Some of the guests really appreciated the pool table. We spent most of Saturday afternoon in the hot tub enjoying the crisp air. We also used the fire pit both nights to make smores and star gaze. My favorite room was the “Benjamin Franklin” room. We took most of our photos in there. I appreciated all the little details like the record player, vinyl records and books through the house. I recommend a stay and Barbara’s Chalet. You won’t be disappointed.
