This cabin is awesome. Whichever season you're visiting during, I'm positive you will be comfortable here. The sauna, steam shower, and fireplace were exactly what I needed after a long day of spring skiing. There are obviously tons of improvements and accommodations added to the cabin such as a modern bathroom, propane fireplace, electric baseboard heating, wifi, TV, etc. BUT the place has not lost its Adirondack style. Even with those features they still nailed the "remote cabin" feel. Directly across the street is an Inn and Bistro that had wonderful food and service. It's fine dining, without any extra travel. Seriously, the food was crazy. The staff were as warm and helpful as it gets. I was adventuring solo, but this would also be a great place to stay for a romantic getaway, or an adventure for other types of close friends. 1 bed, but with sleeping bags I'm sure at least 4 friendly people would make it work for a few days. I'm really happy to have found this place as a base camp for skiing Gore Mountain. Thanks to the whole crew that helped to run this cabin.
