This was maybe my favorite airbnb ever. The yurt was somehow more magical than the pictures, and bigger than I’d imagined. Full kitchen, incredibly comfortable beds, warm ambience with the lamps and the fireplace. The access to laundry was a huge help and Michael was very accommodating. I wish I’d made more use of the hammock in the yard! Would absolutely stay here again!

Michael was such a great host! Yurtlandia was beautiful, peaceful, and even more amazing in person. Michael met with us when we got there and gave us a nice tour of the place which was very helpful. He was conversational and sweet. He also provided lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat at. I’ve already recommended this place to some friends. Great place! :)

We will most definitely be booking this stay again. It was perfect. We spent three nights here and would have been delighted to stay even longer. The yurt and grounds are lovingly tended by Michael, the consummate host, and we’ve never stayed anywhere more comfortable or well-appointed. This stay is our new favorite. It got chilly outside at night, and the heater kept us perfectly cozy and created sweet ambiance too. So many thoughtful details were in place, from various lighting options, to plenty of extra bedding, to spices in the kitchen. And Michael was very available. The bathroom is really just a few steps from the yurt, wasn’t a problem at all. (Plus there were more thoughtful items in there, like body wash and a hair dryer.) And the location is perfect for sightseeing all around Portland and beyond. If you book this stay, make sure you give yourself extra days— you’ll want them!
