We had a great stay at Dustin's in Wells Beach, ME. The room was comfortable, quiet, and had a lovely back deck overlooking a salt marsh in the Rachel Carson's National Wildlife Refuge. Dustin communicated really well, and even met us outside the driveway when he knew we were approaching, to show us where to park, how to get in, etc. He gave good suggestions for local seafood restaurants. While the salt marsh was at the rear of the property, beach access to the ocean was almost literally across the street in front of the property. At low tide, the beach is sandy and wide. The tide does come in pretty quickly, though, and in places comes right up against the sea wall, eliminating the beach. We went for a couple of nice runs along the beach. It is about 1.8 miles from the beach access to a jetty to the north. To the south, the shoreline is mostly rocky (classic Maine). We also rode our bikes one day to Ogunquit to the south, about five miles away.

Had a wonderful stay! The place was super clean. Had a great private balcony. Perfect location. Dustin was an awesome host. Had a lot of good local recommendations & super communicative & friendly!! Highly recommend booking with Dustin if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

Dustin was a great host. Recommended restaurants because we had never been in the area. Very helpful and easy to talk to. If we ever come back to Maine, we will look him up.
