We had an absolutely stay at Annabella and Gigi’s farmhouse! It was peaceful, private and exactly what we needed. The living room was lovely with a huge fireplace, there were so many options to sit and relax around the property.

Nos sentimos como en casa, es ideal para alojarse y hacer hogar, amplia, espaciosa, original y tan bonita!! Nos encantó. Fuimos con mascotas que pudieron corretear libremente de forma segura pues el recinto está perfectamente vallado. Tiene por un lado montañas y parque natural y por el otro playas, cientos de excursiones que hacer alrededor llegando con coche.

This is a very nice, beautiful house, with a vast area around. You can relax in silence and solitude here. The house has everything you need, you can cook food, everything is adapted for this. There is a barbecue area in the yard. It’s 15 minutes from an ocean and amazing views and beaches. Annabella is very hospitable and responsive. We really enjoyed staying here

We had a comfortable stay. The house is spacious but on multiple small levels/stairs so not a great choice for those who cannot navigate stairs well including very small children. We appreciated the quiet (except for a rather vigorous rooster before dawn) but the house is in a very rural area with Alcobaca being the nearest centre (a 15 minute drive). As we were there at the end of October, the house was cool and damp initially but we were left with fire wood for both the living room and the wood stove in the kitchen area and/or for the BBQ. This is a house that we imagine is mostly used by the owners with occasional paying guests so the kitchen is well equipped but a little haphazard. We appreciated the many pantry basics available. We couldn't find the iron or a hair dryer. Sofia the property manager was helpful and despite not speaking English - and we had no Portuguese - our requests were cheerfully and promptly met.
