Really simple house in the woods next to a small street. Perfect to do some hikes in the area and close to water. Keep in mind that there is no fresh water to do dishes and no shower. They provided some water for drinking/cooking wich was a bit to brown for my taste, they ensured it’s fresh and drinkable however. The garden around the house could have needed some work and be tidied up. All over a nice stay if you a travelling Norway and want to do some hikes/outdoor activities in the area.

Skøn primitiv hytte tær på natur. Roligt område, perfekt til at koble af og komme ned i gear og væk fra en travl hverdag :-) Kan varmt anbefales hvis men er til den simple livsstil :-)

Koselig lita hytte i kort kjøreavstand til et stort utvalg fjellturer og Jørpeland sentrum. Her kan du senke skuldrene og slappe godt av!

The first stop to our Norway trip and it was absolutely idyllic. The cabin felt newly built, was very clean, beautifully styled (with cute vintage details). It's located next to a road which we didn't mind because it made it easily accesible by car. There is a beautiful forrest as a back yard and a private spot to swim in the lake if you dare (it was a bit chilly during our stay). We hiked Preikestolen from here and it was indeed only a 20min drive. There is no running water to take a shower when you return though, but it is well explained in the add so we knew that in advance. And there is always the lake to freshen up. ;) We loved everything about the cabin and it's environment. Communication with Mona was fast and easy. If we ever get the chance again, we will be back.
