We loved our stay and the views are incredible! 10-15 mins from Meadows of Dan and about 35 mins from Floyd. The Airbnb was clean and we loved the location. We enjoyed Primitive coffee in Meadows of Dan and Jane’s Country Cafe for lunch. We went to Chateau Morissette for wine tasting and dinner and loved walking around the little vibrant town of Floyd. Highly recommend staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We arrived at night and were tickled to see a lit Christmas tree in the big front window as we drove up. The interior was beautifully and seasonally decorated; the decorated and lit tree, the scented candles, the scented hand soaps, the drink coasters and the little wooden decorations made it feel like Christmas. This was the most well-stocked home we’ve AB&B’d. It had all the kitchen utensils and cookware we needed (plus 2 coffee makers). There was plenty of dish soap, bath soap, shampoo/cond., bath towels, paper towels, toilet tissue and tissue boxes. We had several questions while there and received immediate responses from the host. She was very pleasant and helpful. The eastern views are exactly as described - incredible! The sunrises did not disappoint either! We will be visiting this home again. Highly recommend!

Great mountain house. Our stay was just past peak leaf season, but the views of the mountains across from us was amazing.

This was our 3rd visit to The Hilltop. The views are amazing and ever changing depending on the weather. The cabin looks over the Pinnacles of Dan mountains. The deep, covered front porch and comfortable outdoor furniture make the porch the best place to be for sunrise and sunsets. The cabin has everything you'll need during your stay and is warmly decorated. Plenty of quilts and throws for chilly mornings and evenings. The gas fireplace warms the living room and kitchen area when you need quick heat. Tina is a wonderful host, responding to questions promptly. The small mountain town of Meadows-of-Dan is 20 minutes away, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and has groceries, gas, cafe food, a farmer's market and two local arts shops. The town of Floyd, about 40 minutes away, has lots of local color, art shops, music shops, a brewery, a few clothing shops, an open air farmer's market (in season), and live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Something for everyone in this beautiful area!
