Traditional northern log cabin in true Lapland This two-floor cottage is located in the municipality of Enontekiö, in the outskirts of the Sámi village Hetta The cottage is built on a 6 hectare private land and there are no directly visible neighbour houses from the cabin Cabin is situated by the lake, surrounded with total tranquility. The premises include a sauna, a Finnish "kota", a place for cooking and cozy pastime with live fire, a boat to use at the lake and a fireplace to name a few The cabin has a big livingroom-kichen-dining area as a shared space between functions and three bedrooms. In the living space you can also find a big wood burning fireplace. From the couch you have a view to the lake. Kitchen is fully equipped with coffe maker, stove, oven, water kettle, dishes, glasses, utensils, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, etc... Upstairs bedrooms are by default double beds but can be split to singles if needed. Lakeside bedroom has also a private terrace with seating. Separate bedroom located downstairs, next to living space has two single beds. On the same floor you will find also traditional wood burning sauna, shower, WC and wash room with washing machine. 50 meters from cabin you can find our little kota where you can enjoy time with friends and family around fire and grill sausages if you like.

This really cozy cabin is beautifully located on a lake. We really enjoyed our stay. The area is a hiking paradise and offers countless possibilities.

Haus und Grundstück waren genau was wir gesucht hatten: direkt am See gelegen, allein gelegen, mit einer Sauna und eigenem Ruderboot. Am Ankunftstag waren Rentiere im „Garten“, Eichhörnchen huschen ums Haus, leider auch ein paar Mäuse IM Haus, was manche von uns gar nicht mochten und wo viele Personen wohl empfindlich reagieren. Aber das Haus ist schön aufgeteilt und ist ideal für 4 Erwachsene, das dritte Schlafzimmer würde ich eher für Kinder empfehlen. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet zum Kochen und wir haben die Grillhütte ebenfalls ausprobiert. Als wir da waren gab es ein Problem mit der Sickergrube, aber unser Komfort war nicht sehr eingeschränkt. Hetta ist eine sehr nette Ortschaft mit schönem Tourismus-Zentrum und einigen Aktivitäten für jede Jahreszeit. Ich habe unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würde gerne wieder kommen um noch einmal die sternenklare Nacht zu sehen und die Nordlichter am See zu genießen :)

Wir durften mit vier Freunden zwei wunderbare Wochen bei dieser MEGA-Hütte mit urgemütlichen Flair verbringen welche sämtliche unserer Erwartungen vollends übertroffen hat! Wer die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht ist hier goldrichtig! Hier hat wirklich alles gepasst! Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen TOP TOP TOP!!! 😊

Hyvä ranta uimiseen. Ei pienille lapsille, syvenee jyrkästi. Tilaa oli runsaasti. Toimiva keittiö. Siisti. Uusi vene. Kodassa ritilä jossa voi paistaa. Hiiligrillaus onnistuu samassa myös. Kodassa myös manuaalivarras isolle lihalle. Pari muurikkaa mutta ei teräsharjaa putsaukseen. Puita tarpeeksi saunomiseen ja grillaukseen. Hillitön takka, pakko olla talvella unohtumaton! Puusauna! Hyvä vesi.

Welcome to our cabin in Hetta, Enontekiö!
The cabin is located in Hetta, Enontekiö. It is a private location, from the main road about 1 kilometer(0,6 mi.) and from the village center about 10 kilometer (6 mi.)
Here you can enjoy the ambiance of True Lapland, be it during northern lights season with colorful skies or polar day time when sun never sets.
Northern lights can be seen usually from late August to late March, polar day is with us from late May to late July.
From the village center you can find shops for food, wine and hardware and services like healthcare, rentals, repairs etc.

出行信息

Our cabin is remote, so You need a car to fully enjoy your stay here. Distance to the village center to shops is about 10km.
During winter season you can also get around via snowmobile, acsess to the trails is easy from your cabin. You can ask about snowmobile rental if interested, we are working with local businesses to provide you what are you looking for.
You can rent mountainbikes and e-mountainbikes from us, we operate a rental at the Fjell-Lapland Nature center, Peuratie 15. We provide information to you about local trails and daytrips.
Cross Country skiiers, both classic and skatestyle, will appreciate our beautiful nature and trails from about beginning of March to mid April, sometimes longer. Hetta is not a booming ski town, so the trails offer different, more private experience from crowded trails of big ski centers.
Our Cross Country trails also go to high tundra where weather can present some challenges and variety to trail conditions.
Local trail maintenance machinery is trackable live via GPS when it is in operation.
If you are planning to stay during snow season we recommend a 4 wheel drive car, as sometimes snow conditions can change rapidly and be difficult to fair weather drivers. You will be fine with regular car if you are confident driver.
