Walnut Yurt is situated in its own yurt garden nestled beside a beautiful Walnut tree surrounded by Stamford Meadows. The site is next to a lovely garden with a slide and swings for children and comfy seating area. The area is a haven for wildlife including kingfishers, dragonflies and water voles. Local Stamfordians regularly enjoy the Meadows to escape from the bustle of the nearby town. Your yurt is minutes from the river and millstream. Walnut Yurt is beautifully furnished with a luxurious king size bed and if you require two further beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen just for you with a fridge and gas stove, your own eco loo with a hand wash basin and you have your own firepit. There is a further private luxury bathroom about 50m walk with a flushing loo and powerful shower.

lovely yurt. very private. fabulous location and a nice easy flat walk into stamford. lots of dog walks and dog friendly restaurants.
Amelia and Yogi were extremely responsive to messages and very helpful at all times. The accommodation was exactly as described and a beautiful place to stay. The only issue perhaps is that neighbouring lodges are very close and because everything is natural surroundings, noise travels very easily. The outdoor toilet at the yurt was interesting and probably not ideal for families but it’s all very eco-friendly and there’s also a private modern bathroom and toilet a very short walk from our yurt. This place is perfect to just get away, do some soul searching in a romantic, idyllic setting. Highly recommend . Thanks again both for a lovely stay!

You will have the best of town and country, 10 minutes walk away from the famous Georgian market town of Stamford with is bustling shops, bars and restaurants and Burghley House close within walking distance. There are many interesting walks across the Meadows, fishing and kayaking in the River Welland within two minutes walk. Close by is Rutland Water and Talllington Lakes with a wide range of water sports, cycling and climbing activities.
We are 10 minutes walk from Stamford train station which has excellent links to London, Cambridge and Birmingham and beyond. The owners will come and pick you up if they can. There is parking for two cars at the glampsite with charging for an electric vehicle.
