Kick back and relax in our calm, stylish space! Outside sauna and hot / cold tub + shower, hammock, pool table, bbq, pinball & more… About 15 minutes walking from the city centre (4 minutes by bike), the house is located in the green and quiet 'Den Hout' neighbourhood. It's almost like living in the country side ;) The beach is only 15 minutes by car (or 30 minutes by bicycle) and amsterdam 20 minutes by public transport! We only rent our house to couples with 1 or 2 kids. No (party) groups! The living room is upstairs, with view over lush trees and quiet streets. One bed room is downstairs (the single one, my son's bed room) and the master is upstairs (we only use the room for sleeping, so it's pretty small). There are 3 bathrooms, 1 with bath, 2 with showers. There are 3 toilets, spread over the two floors. You are free to use the sauna and grand piano; all I ask is that you take care and use them responsibly. There is one (small) master bedroom, with a king bed. Another bedroom, for one child (my son's bedroom), is on the ground floor. If you come with more than one child, it is possible to add an extra mattress on the floor of the meditation/yoga room. The garden is green and fresh, with a large table for outdoor dining, a hammock for chilling, and if you're willing to get your hands in the dirt, there are always weeds asking to be rooted out :) The kitchen has a freezer and a fridge, which will be partly filled, as I will leave some stuff in there. I am a passionate home chef, so you will find all the cooking equipment you need. If you are an ardent meditator or yoga practitioner, you can use my office, as it's really quiet down there. Of course, you're free to use the office if you need to get some work done. An important note: There are only 2 bed rooms, and three beds. So if your group consists of four persons, one will have to use a mattress on the floor.
