LOVED IT! A private escape into a BEAUTIFUL rainforest with a warm and welcoming host. Lots of hiking trails on the property and nearby. The directions provided and the map on Airbnb are accurate, but the link to the Google map is NOT.
This is a magical place. Right in the eye of the rainforest surrounded by nature, this place holds a special place in my heart. The water is amazing, you have a little waterfall you can walk and take a bath, you have barely any signal, and a amazing company with the animals living with Thrity. This is a place to disconnect and reset, get in touch with the nature Puerto Rico has to offer, and enjoy the singing of the coquis echoing through the rainforest.
Wonderful small studio location in the forest as described. Only downside is no AC but it’s off the beaten path and expected. Great host.
If you really look for a place to be in nature with all its magical sounds and a wonderful surrounding that’s the place you will find it. You can dive into green peace. It’s the most comfortable than you can get although you are so near to pure nature.
This place was absolutely amazing. The stay was very comfortable. The company was wonderful, very welcoming. The property is very tranquil and serene. Highly recommend!

I am a research artist performance scientist, and a tree-lover, and welcome anyone wishing to stay in the rainforest in the south east of the island of Puerto Rico for a short stay. The location is ideal for those touring the island in a car, or for those who are seeking a sanctuary away from the city noise, to heal, relax, walk, sleep, breathe, write, & paint. Drink fresh air and mountain spring-water. Dip into the river. Birdwatch. Go on a night hike. We have a very comfortable private room that has one double-bed, a lovely bathroom, and is located on the forested homestead within a working Sustainable Forestry and Rainforest Enrichment Project established 37 years ago by the Institute of Ecotechnics, of which I am a Director. I live here. We also have a bunkhouse available that we call the 'Owl Center' which is in a forested area frequented by the Puerto Rican Screech owl. Three dogs, Negralora, Nogal, and Yagrumo look after us all. Gentle dogs who love people. There are several nurseries on the homestead, and many rare and endangered endemic species planted everywhere, so it is a plant lover's delight.
