The place is gorgeous. No doubt about that. Had a lil incident the second night but was no aware of any complaints and I would’ve loved if they communicated bc the driver who works for them actually picked us up with 4 people and if he would’ve said “hey you’ll get fined for bringing 2 other people” I would’ve not taken the ride. No hot water. Also she communicated til after we checked out of all the complaints. Would’ve loved if it was brought to my attention right there & then. They offer rides for Q100 to Antigua & Q100 back to the air bnb. If you walk down into the center of San Cristobal. Order an Uber and it’s about Q50. Definitely use them if I’m Antigua late at night bc Ubers will not go up there late at night since the roads are not the best getting to the Airbnb. Quiet time in Description says 11pm but host said it starts at 10pm.

Staying at this property was an exquisite experience. The views were magnificent as you can see 3 volcanoes and feel closer to nature. If you are not a nature lover, this might not be for you. It is quite discrete from the city center so you’ll need a vehicle to get to most places and restaurants. The road is not good so be ready for Uber cancellations and drivers overcharging. Besides this, Cariño was very responsive. She answered all our questions and provided us will all the assistance we needed to make our stay memorable.

Wow! This place was breathtaking with the views of the volcanoes. The furniture and place itself give modern/antique vibes (if that makes sense). One thing to note is that it is a little out of the way from Antigua which I knew going in and it’s really high up. I was able to get transportation with Uber but I did have a few drivers cancel on me when I was in Antigua because they didn’t want to drive up the mountain. If there are others staying in the villa you will be able to hear each other but I didn’t mind it. Cariño is the best host you could ask for. She was super responsive and helpful through my entire stay. I definitely recommend staying here for the beautiful view if you don’t mind staying outside the city.

The house is beyond beautiful. It is the most extraordinary place we’ve ever stayed in. The rooms, furniture and artwork were amazing. Then the view … 3 volcanoes, mountains and forest, and at least 7 black vultures soaring overhead. We were blown away by the view every time we looked up.

What an experience! I will never forget the feeling of walking through the minimalist front wooden door into a breathaking view. The attention to the detail and design of this space is top tier. Lots of natural light, mindful construction allowing the passage of large trees, seating areas, bedrooms and desks all facing floor to ceiling windows that open for fresh air all throughout the house. Fruit/herb/and flower gardens, and well chosen and placed books and art. Hands down the most beautiful place I've ever rented. Cariñho, Alejandra and Juan Jose are all such pure hearted darlings, and were available to assist at any moment. I opened a door I thought was a closet to find a rain shower and wood sauna and wow wow wow what a nice surprise. Def a home for those who appreciate art and design, the tranquility of nature and its sounds, and modern meets the jungle charm. SO many spaces for me to practice yoga, and the sound bowls were magical. I look forward to visiting Antigua again just for this rental! Sat Nam <3
