Myrto Villa is located just one kilometer away from Kyparissia Town, in a peaceful and safe neighborhood, consisting of a few more residences. Just half a kilometer or a ten minute walk away from the property, you can reach “Giannitsaina” beach, a quiet, uncrowded beach ideal for your morning swim or your afternoon stroll. Just two kilometers or one minute drive away from the property, you can reach Kyparissia’s main beach, a more organized, crowded beach providing you with various options of beach bars, cafes and restaurants along with volley and racket fields. Kyparissia Town offers various choices of entertainment in its restaurants, bars and clubs across the beach and old town by the castle.
Another eight kilometers or an eight minute drive away from Myrto Villa you can reach the picturesque harbor village of “Agrilis”. Once you get there, you may have a cup of coffee at “Mylos Cafe”, a coffee house built in an actual wind mile by the sea, or have lunch at a traditional fish tavern with the view of the harbor and Ionian sea. Driving for another two kilometers you can get to “Stomio” beach, a hidden bay with a few sunbeds and a little canteen, ideal for a peaceful evening swim.
Driving even more south of Kyparissia you will be able to explore many hidden gems within a few kilometers, such as Pylos, Methoni and Koroni, (majestic little towns with sandy beaches and ancient castles aging back to the era of Troycian war), Voidokilia beach (one of the most famous beaches of Messinia) and Polilimnio waterfalls park (an evergreen haven comprises of numerous pods and cascades).
Driving north of Kyparissia you will be able to explore some more treasures such as the Elaia (a vast pine forest by the beach, where sea turtles lay their eggs and has been characterized as a natura protected area). Combining a little luck you may have a glance at some little turtles leaving their nests by the sunset.
Another day trip could be to the Ancient Olympia archeological site, the famous ancient city where men from all Greece gathered to compete in the Olympic games every four years.
On the same day you may visit “Kaiafas” park known for its wonderful and unique ecosystem. The famous “Kaiafas” hot springs are a geological formation consisting of a spring where hot water gushes from deep within the earth’s crust and flows to the surface. The spring is located inside a naturally shaped cave by mountain “Lapitha”.

Just two and a half hours away from Athens (290 km from Athens International Airport) and 40 minutes away from Kalamata (60 km from Kalamata Airport), you will reach Kyparissia Town fast and safe.
While in Kyparissia, you are strongly advised to bring or rent your own means of transportation in order to freely move to and from the old town and discover all the hidden gems located within an hour away from Kyparissia, such as Voidokilia beach, Polylimnio and Neda waterfalls, Olympia archeological site and Kaiafas thermal springs.
Just an hour and a half (110 km) away from Kyparissia Town, you may get to Killini port and catch the ferry to Ionian islands such as Zante and Kefalonia, as a perfect way to continue your trip.
