As I wrote in the guestbook, we came up to Vermont to see the full solar eclipse with our daughters (3+5) and the view from this house was everything we had hoped for and more! Our girls loved the cabin, the fun loft bedroom, the air hockey + pacman arcade game, and the unexpected snow...we were excited to see sleds available to use as well! We had such a relaxing and fun stay. As Megan mentions - there are some great places nearby (20-30 minute drive): The Parker Pie Co pizza was SO GOOD (kid friendly and a great beer selection for adults), The Fairbanks Museum and Planetarium was a great spot to visit with kids, and the Stephen Huneck Dog Museum and Chapel - all kid and adult approved! We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our time during the eclipse. Other things to note: The fire place was amazing, so easy to use and heats up the place very well, super clean, comfy beds, great wifi and a smart TV for all streaming needs. No complaints with our stay! Thanks Megan!

Beautiful cabin with a rustic feel but all the modern amenities. Everything was spotless and exactly as described. We picked a cold weekend and the March wind was howling, but the cabin was so cozy and warm with the wood stove. Beautiful views from the balcony by day, and by night so many stars! Megan was a great host… even gave us a head’s up that the roads might be a little muddy. Our dogs had a great time exploring the property and playing in what was left of the snow. We had a great visit and hope to be back again soon!

Megan was a wonderful host! Super communicative, friendly, and helpful. I appreciated being given the heads up on the bumpy/muddy road leading to the property. Arriving there for the first time was so welcoming. The cabin was clean, clutter-free, and after an almost 4-hour trek there, it was great to settle into our private cabin and get cozy with a fire. We LOVED the views, our pups loved running around in the snow, and the wood stove did a wonderful job of heating the cabin up. It was an awesome first trip to VT for my family. I’d highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back!
