We liked the cottage which is very comfortable with lots of modern conveniences but retaining the charm of the old building. It is generally in a quiet area of the island but the main road runs next to the house and some cars and motorbikes do whizz past. There is a large south facing garden on the other side of the house away from the road and it is very quiet at night.

We really enjoyed our stay at Brook Cottage, there was lots of usable space for adults and children alike. The cottage has high quality furnishing and comfort, I could've laid in bed for much longer 😂 Communications were very clear and our 11 month old had been accommodated for with a good quality high chair. We also appreciated the welcome treats. A great base for us to travel all over the island, or relax comfortably in. We enjoyed the fish and chips from munch box at Grange Farm.

Communication and directions were great. What a beautiful location right near the beach. A lovely big private garden with outdoor seating. Very spacious open plan living room with loads of seating. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Small snug room with WC and huge shower. Can also be used as an extra bedroom, 4th. We also found on arrival, milk in the fridge and a hamper of local breads and cake too. Can’t recommend this house highly enough. Some great local restaurants, The Cow was the highlight just up the road. A really good Indian restaurant Jaffran and a good Chinese takeaway Sunbo. Fish n chips at Blue Crab. Really close to the fossil coast and the Needles. We had a fantastic holiday, It was perfect!

We had a great week at Greystone. The decor of the house is light and bright with a nautical theme, perfect to match its surroundings. The bed was very comfortable, the double shower in the wet room was excellent, the wifi was good and the stunning view from the master bedroom is unbeatable. Everything is provided and the property is well equipped with additional touches like binoculars and telescope making this the perfect accommodation for a large group. The welcome pack was also a lovely surprise. The Snug is a lovely space for chilling with a book or for playing with the Wii. The only thing that would have made it even more perfect was if there had been a proper shower in the bathroom instead of a hand held one. However, the shower in the wet room more than made up for that. The location is excellent for visiting all the tourist attractions, half an hour’s drive at the most to get to the other side of the island and great walks right on your doorstep.

We had a great week at Christine’s cottage. It’s located perfectly for the beach (good for fossil hunting) with a huge lawned garden with fruit trees. Excellent walking also from the door and with a superb pub (the Sun at Hulverstone) nearby. The house is really lovely and characterful and the downstairs space is massive. The master bedroom has fantastic views over the bay to the west. The kitchen is well equipped and we were met with a hamper of local produce which was a real treat. Christine was a very responsive and helpful host. All in all, highly recommended.
