If this review were to be about Alfredo, the host, this review gets five stars. Alfredo is friendly, dedicated and helpful. But the house was a disappointment to us for several reasons. The pictures are a lot more beneficial than reality. We found the house lacking in atmosphere and the surroundings also lacked coziness, a nice atmosphere. Check Google street view. On top of that: the title of the ad suggests that you are close to the city of Pisa. This is not true, it is 30 minutes away by car. (Pisa as a city is unfortunately not beautiful, Florence is much more beautiful). I guess we were the first tenants for a few months, because when we arrived there was limited electricity, a damp atmosphere and brown water came out of the tap. On weekends we always had groups of children playing outside the door. After two hours that noise starts to get annoying. And you have to take into account planes coming over frequently. In short: We left after three days to Florence.

We had a great time at Alfredos little villa. You are at the public beach in no time, there is also a forest just behind the complex. Alfredos house has all the things you might need and he is answering lightning fast if you have any question. To sum it up: the house is great, nice layout, good interior and very clean with all the addons you might need. For us the highlight was the parking space just around the house in the secure complex, as we wanted scout this part of Tuscany with our car - Lucca, Pisa, or just Livorno just around the corner. A tip: as other mentioned (and what is clearly described here on AirBnb), Alfredos house has no internet connection, but you have great mobile phone reception. If you need internet, just book a big data package for the time and use your phone as hotspot. Thanks again, Alfredo.

Sehr gute saubere Unterkunft, alles fußläufig super gut zu erreichen (einkaufen und Strand) Alfredo war immer erreichbar und gab notwendige Antworten. Autostellplatz vorhanden.

Das Haus von Alfredo war sehr schön und in einer guten Lage. Wir wollten einen Erholungsurlaub, den wir wirklich auch bekommen haben. Wir sind täglich zu Fuß zum Strand (5-10 min) und konnten Abends ebenfalls zu Fuß zu den naheliegende Restaurants laufen. Einen Ausflug nach Lucca (30 min) oder Livorno (20min) ist ebenfalls von der Unterkunft gut zu erreichen. Das Haus und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Zusätzlich sind überall Fliegengitter, was mir persönlich sehr gut gefallen hat, da ich sonst immer den Mücken zum Opfer falle. So konnte man immer schön die Fenster offen lassen. Die Terrasse direkt an der Küche, lag fast den ganzen Tag im Schatten, was vor oder nach einem Strandtag wirklich entspannend war. Die Kommunikation mit Alfredo war immer sehr schnell und immer freundlich. Danke nochmal für das Willkommens Gruß im Kühlschrank. Wir haben uns zu dritt sehr wohl gefühlt und waren rundum zufrieden.
