Let's talk cleaning for a minute. Did you know that most cabin owners in North Georgia don't wash the blankets on the bed every time a new guest comes? Isn't that alarming? How do we know? We've asked dozens of cleaners over the past few months and that's what they told us. At Bison Lodge, we're proud of the fact that we launder all the linens, including bed blankets every single time we change over guests. Not only is all bedding washed, but we use a commercial laundry service that specializes in high end boutique hotels and luxury lodges. They clean with exceptionally hot water to make sure your linens are beautiful, soft, and most importantly very clean. We acknowledge our cleaning fee is higher than most, we want our cleaners and laundry service doing a great job for you and we will spare no expense to get you not only the best property for your corporate retreat or vacation, but also the highest quality cleaning services in the area. Our properties also feature industry leading Alen air purifiers. These magical machines that take dust, airborne allergens, and even can clear out Covid-19 particles out of the air. Bison Lodge has the best indoor air quality in the mountains! And why not, you deserve it.

I really enjoyed your home. I booked this home for my team as a “Team Building” trip and we all loved it here. The house is very beautiful, clean, and detailed. There was very clear and prompt communication and instructions. I will definitely return.
Hands down, THE best experience! The property is absolutely beautiful. We were a group of 18 celebrating my 40th birthday. The main lodge offered plenty of space, a very generous amount of amenities, and the entire home was spotless! Marci was amazing, super responsive & so helpful! We cannot wait to go back!
The place was absolutely beautiful!! The views were breathtaking, and we hated to leave. It was one of the cleanest places that I've stayed away from home. Marsi was always responsive and attentive. She made me feel welcomed from the very beginning. The home came equipped with every outdoor/indoor game you can imagine. It's truly a game lover's paradise! Everything was labeled in the home which made things even easier to navigate. Again, I cannot say enough about the cleanliness of the space. We felt at home and can't wait to visit again.
We loved our stay, wonderful place. Great vibes, plenty of space inside to stretch out, plenty of space outside to run around. Just so others know, the doors on the bottom floor are locked and inaccessible. You'll have to traverse a number of stairs to get to the front and side doors, or go through the doors in the back. Also, the road to the lodge is very rocky. The owners do a good job of warning you about this in detail in description, so don't skip over it.
it's a peace of heaven on earth. We had 32 people truly enjoyed it. The cabin, lodge and barn are nice beautiful inside outside. They are stocked with all the essentials.

We feel we have the best location in North Georgia, just 15 minutes to Georgia's #1 visited resort town – the Alpine Village known as Helen. Tube the "hooch" as they say or eat some great food in town. There's even a roller coaster in Helen! It is home to a genuine Alpine Oktoberfest from September to November every year. If you want something a little more sophisticated, consider a Georgia winery tour along George's winery Highway.
Rent a boat, JetSki, or other watercraft on Lake Chatuge, a 25-30 minute drive from the lodge.
The hiking and waterfalls in this part of Georgia are some of the nations best and you don't want to miss Ana Ruby Falls. There are numerous other hidden waterfalls to find in this area as well.

ROAD DISCLOSURE: All roads leading to the cabin are paved with the exception of the last 2.9 miles. You will travel a dirt and gravel road maintained by the US Forestry Service. When traveling this road, you may encounter potholes, rocks, and ruts from mountain water runoff. We have observed standard passenger cars, including lower profile and sports cars on the road, but in accordance with the US Forestry Service, Bison View Lodge LLC recommends that only trucks and higher clearance vehicles (SUV’s for example) travel the road. Bison View Lodge LLC is not liable for the condition of the road and not responsible for damage to vehicles or accidents. However, it is traveled daily by passenger cars, trucks, and SUV’s, and occasionally 30 passenger wine tour buses and large construction vehicles & trailers. (PLEASE NOTE: Amazon/FedEx/UPS don't deliver to the lodge) It is important to follow the directions emailed to you and NOT A GPS APP.
