Our recent Airbnb rental experience for a music festival trip was a mixed bag. The location offered great views and the spacious, clean apartment comfortably accommodated our group. However, our stay was marred by multiple issues. The malfunctioning entry code hindered our access, with the host displaying reluctance to address the problem despite our repeated calls for help. The lack of promised Wi-Fi added to our frustrations, compounded by the unavailability of parking spots and garage access due to a missing clicker. Inadequate lighting further soured our stay, forcing us to endure periods in darkness. While the music festival brought joy, the Airbnb fell short of expectations, with the indifferent host failing to provide the support needed for a pleasant experience. Disappointing overall.

Starting with the positive. This place is beautiful. The view is amazing. The location is great, with an easy walk to Venice Beach. Just so everyone knows what they getting though, there is a plaque in the lobby which states, "This building does not allow AirBnB or short term rentals." We also discovered that this host rent a number of apartments in this building. It's evident from the furnishings that no one lives in this apartment - this is leased and then rerented via AirBnb in violation of their lease. The check in instructions are clear but also clearly designed to avoid the building management so as to avoid being caught. The whole stay feels sketchy for this reason. The hosts also try to use a single wifi router to provide Internet for multiple apartments and it just doesn't work. We stayed 5 days and never had Internet. We had to contact AirBnb support on our second day to get the host to respond to us about problems with Wifi, the keys, and the coffee maker.

Beautiful view of the ocean! The kitchen has all the necessary utensils, it even had coffee, sugar, oil, tea, salt, detergent for the laundry, I could continue mentioning things, but let's just say that there were plenty of supplies for our stay of 7. The beds were super comfortable, the apartment is super clean, and our hosts were very responsive to any needs we had. We really enjoyed our stay, I definitely recommend it, and we will return here on our next vacation, thank you Giselle and Jon.

L'appartement est très bien situé à proximité de la mer. C'est un endroit idéal pour y aller en famille et son emplacement à proximité de Venice Beach et Santa Monica est remarquable. Nous avons aimé l'espace, l'agencement, la propreté et la réactivité de l'équipe ! Merci à Giselle et Don pour leur grande disponibilité et leur gentillesse. Nous y retournerons certainement !!

Our original airbnb cancelled last minute and thankfully Giselle and Jon were able to host us last minute! Great location with amazing ocean+sunset view. Also extremely convenient to have parking. Self check in had very specific details with pictures
