自我介绍

I am a university professor with a specialization in Native American Literature and a passion for urban ecology, music, and the fine arts. I enjoy raising chickens, maple sugaring, and exploring the local environment via canoe, bicycle, and foot. New Haven is a diverse and fascinating place, with lots of cultural and natural resources close by. I manage the Bnb's with Donna, who has a degree in environmental science and a passion raising orchids. LP currently on the turntable: Arlo Guthrie, Hobo's Lullaby. Books we're currently reading: Ursula K. LeGuin, The Earthsea Trilogy; Shunryu Suzuki, Zen Mind, Beginners Mind. I have two spaces available. Maritime Neighborhood is the original Airbnb. It features a large, private suite and full bath. Dragon Point is the 2nd floor apartment (Dragon Point is the historic name of the maritime district of the Quinnipiac River). It is a complete 2-bedroom apartment with a fully stocked kitchen. One of our recent guests used the kitchen and large dining room to cater an event at Lyric Hall, one of our landmark local theaters. Both spaces have a private guest entrance. You can come and go as you please without disturbing and/or interacting with the other members of the household. Breakfast is available upon request. I am happy to chat over a meal whenever it is mutually convenient.
