The lodge was immaculate— the heated bathroom floor, SUPER comfy bed, beautiful views— we will absolutely be coming back!! Perfect place to stay for hikers, brewery/winery lovers, and anyone looking for a little getaway. Valerie has such an amazing place and we 10/10 recommend!

This is our second time staying at the Solitude Lodge. Excellent communication, great location, clean and comfortable accommodations. It’s been perfect for our quick getaways for an overnight staycation away from the city. Last night, we enjoyed their great backyard view to cap off the great time in Bluemont - they provide a couple chairs just outside the Airbnb’s entrance. We will gladly return!

Absolutely top-notch experience. The pictures don’t do it justice. Beautiful, tranquil, private, quiet setting. New build, beautiful touches and exceptionally comfortable bed, air/heat, and pristine. Valerie was very communicative and responsive without being the least bit intrusive. It was an exceptional experience, would rank as one of the top places we’ve ever stayed.
