The larger nearby town of Newton Abbot is also just a 5-minute drive away with a wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The town also has a main train station for those wishing to travel down without a car. Although set within the beautiful area of the South Hams, the towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham, which make up the renowned ’English Riviera’, are just a short drive away.
