ZOLILLA its the best place to start a real tour of Rome: near the Imperial Forums and Colosseum! The apartment is located in the first floor of a quiet and safe neighborhood. Nearby, there is shops as well as a couple of supermarkets, and of course, many good restaurants... The apartment has Wireless Internet included in the price, bathroom for every room, and a kitchen (and fridge). We are downtown near Colosseum,Imperial Forums,Arch of Constantine,Forum of Trajan,Santa Maria MAggiore chruc,San Pietro in Vincoli (inside there is the Michelangelo's sculpture called Moses),Trajan's column,Piazza Venezia,Via del Corso (the most important street for shopping),Victor Emmanuel,Forum Romanum,Palatine hill and a lot more. The Vatican city its just 20 minutes far by subuway or 40 minutes by feet ....for sure100% walkable! Pantheon,Trevi fountain,Spanish steps,Campo dei Fiori,Piazza del Popolo,Piazza Navona,Villa borghese are just 20 minutes by feet. We are well connected with the public transport, so you can go anywhere at any time without worrying about how you will get back. There are a couple of bus and tram stops about a 1min walk away, as well as the metro/subway station CAVOUR or TERMINI 400m away which has a bus station that connects to almost all parts of the city, as well as to the train stations and connections to the Fiumicino and Ciampino airport. I think it's incredible that only a few minutes walk away from the great tourist sites, you can find peace and quiet and experience the real Roman life, without the crowds... Here, you will be able to see the city from another perspective and feel at home while having a good night's rest after meeting the city. ABOUT ME Welcome, I'm Franca a creative and graphic designer but also owner of a gorgeus B&B located in the middle of the historical centre of Roma called ZOLILLA. What is the meaning of this curious name? Well, the name its composed by "Zoli" (my last name) and "Godzilla". In fact the mascotte "Zolilla" is a kind of purple dinosaur, by the way, LILLA in italian means lilac! I'm crazy for Japanese culture and food, in fact I study Japanese language. I love also design, art, books and electronic music.....and yes, I love to travel too. I travel very often across Europe, America and Japan. I have a twin sister who helps me with this wonderful work. We really like do sports,cooking and eating great food...we are italian! * All the illustrations on the website and inside the B&B are our creations. Benvenuti, sono un'illustratrice e graphic designer ma anche la proprietaria di un meraviglioso B&B che si chiama ZOLILLA situato nel pieno centro storico di Roma. Cosa significa ZOLILLA? Il nome è composto per metà da "Zoli" (il mio cognome) e per l'altra metà da "Gozzilla". Infatti la mascotte Zolilla è una specie di dinosauro violetto.Un gioco di parole insomma^__^ Sono pazza per la cultura ed il cibo giapponese, infatti studio giapponese. Amo il design,l'arte,leggere e la musica elettronica....e ovviamente adoro viaggiare. Viaggio spesso tra Europa, America e Giappone. Ho anche una sorella gemella che lavora con me in questo splendido B&B. Ci piace lo sport,cucinare e mangiare.....perforza siamo italiane!
