We needed a local place to stay while we were having work done on our house which is why we stayed. The house itself is perfectly nice, the area quiet and close enough to walk to the tube station. However, for the price being charged I would expect more attention to detail from the host - The driveway is covered in weeds with the letterbox overflowing, and the back garden is overgrown. When we arrived the kitchen bin (with no liner in it) had not been emptied and nor had the bathroom bins and the house was dusty, and some of the towels stained. Making it feel as though no one had been in to freshen up before check in. The kitchen was lacking in very basic supplies - the Salt was empty, there was no cooking oil, kitchen roll, egg cups, colander, tea or coffee, bin liners etc. So although the house itself is nice and spacious and fine for what we needed it for there was definitely some disappointment for the price.
