The magic of the place, the forest walks and the luxury of silence are all great ways to reconnect with what's essential. Our facilities are rounded off by vae-vtt bike hire, wooden armchairs for lounging in the sun, games and a heated outdoor swimming pool in summer... Forêt Totem is also the promise of new experiences in the forest : the educational path with its 8 personalised panels and challenges to take up, as well as a new footpath in 2024 on awakening the 5 senses, guided by audios. CHESTNUT is the most English of our gîtes ! Its vast 50 m² living area ensures convivial moments between the large kitchen and the living room with its wood-burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped (gas hob and oven). There is also a utility room and toilet on the ground floor. Upstairs, you will find 2 bedrooms, the largest measuring 22 m² with its queen-size bed (wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table) and the second with 2 single beds. The bathroom has a bath, washbasin and toilet. Bed linen and towels are provided and in place on arrival. As an option, we deliver breakfast basket, dinner or aperitif platters, install a cot and high chair in your gîte (€10/stay) and give you information about hiring our VAE or mountain bikes and about walks in the surrounding area (along the river Scorff, visiting Ste Barbe chapel, discovering the rolling countryside...). You could also enjoy the outdoor table with a view of the forest, as well as the wooden chiliennes. You also discover other secluded areas where you can have lunch or relax among the trees or in the clearing... As proof of its commitment to limiting its impact on the environment and raising awareness of ecological issues, Forêt Totem was awarded the European Ecolabel in 2023.
