Belle ville is one of the oldest parts of Bridgetown
It is famous for the huge old cabbage palms and very old colonial style houses
It is very central
Surrounded by a bus system
Beach and the center of the town are in walking distance 10 to 15 min walk or you take a bus just around the corner
Where you also find a little supermarket
In the belle ville avenues you will find little restaurants and cafes
I love this place , because it is calm, still very central
And the closest beach called Carlisle bay is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island
Ideal for long walks

The best way to get around is the public transportation bus ( blue)
Or the mini vans , who drive more often and to be found all over the place
Bus fee is 3.50 Barbados Dollar
In the public transport bus you have to pay straight , you won’t get change back
If you like to rent a car, there is parking next to my house available
