Modern, lovely and very clean apartment. Bedrooms were so spacious and the little touches like face masks for my partner were brilliant. Location was perfect and would 100% stay again.

Lovely, clean and charming flat in Camborne. Close to pubs and shops within short walking distance. Very spacious corner house and gives a homely, comfy feeling. Picks up sun well in summer and gives uplifting feel. Beds so comfy, windows are gorgeous, decor and details are well matched and aesthetic. Greeted with hyaluronic acid gold masks, lovely teabag selection and lush washing products. Code system on doors vest modern and easy to follow/ understand when checking in. Drivable distance to nice beach locations. Such amazing value for money!! Feels too good to be true and would recommend to others . The communication from the host was polite and consistent throughout and very accommodating. I am looking forward to staying with Altido again.

Staying at miners rest was absolutely lovely! Fantastic decor, comfortable rooms, and everything you could want provided. I would recommend to those considering, and would definitely stay again myself!

This is an ok property with a few perks but overall it requires improvement. I would only recommend staying here if your options are limited. The good: Cheaper than coastal town accomodation, able to drive to the coastal towns relatively easily. Decent nearby amenities - next to an Aldi and a pub (e.g. for dinner). An ok Kitchen to store food and cook meals. Relatively nicely furnished, the larger bedroom is particularly pleasant. A few welcome treats including two bottles of local IPA and a few snacks (no milk though - big mistake!). The not so good: It's a converted attic, so it definitely feels cramped and it's easy to bang your head in certain places. They've definitely tried to cram too many things into this attic; one half of the dining table is under the sloped roof, making it hard to use. The TVs in the bedrooms are also awkwardly placed, with neither viewable from the beds and the second bedroom's TV being uselessly placed in a corner and barely off the ground. It would be so much better to just have one TV in the communal area. The second bedroom's mattress isn't particularly comfortable - it's too raised / too firm in the middle...this mattress has probably seen a fair amount of use and needs replacing. The shower is electric, producing rather disappointing water pressure whilst also making it hard to control temperature. It's clear that the shower cubicle and the shower itself haven't been renovated. They definitely require improvement. There isn't a towel rail in the bathroom. You have to go through three(!) different doors with different keypad codes to go from the building entrance to your bedroom. This is a very arduous process and particularly irritating when taking luggage up. Need to change to keycards or just normal keys. There can be significant noise outside (mostly by people leaving the pubs) at night but the bedroom windows are only single glazed. One of our night's sleeps was disturbed by this. They need to change the windows to double glazing. The whole building doesn't seem amazingly put together. When occupants of the other flats closed / slammed doors we could feel the vibrations in the top floor. We could also hear them sometimes - poor insulation. The smoke alarms in the bedrooms flash a ring of light every 5-10 seconds. This can also be disturbing when trying to sleep. Why not have a standard alarm which at the very most has a tiny LED? Overall the not-so-goods result in a somewhat disappointing experience where it's clear that there's a real lack of TLC with this property and corners have been cut. Maybe we should have expected this from a property owned by a lettings business. Unfortunately I would not return.
