The house is located a minute walk from Filoti's square. Old part of the venetian Barozzi tower, is fully renovated. Up to 5 visitors can enjoy a stay in this iconic place filled with delicate decoration from today and the past. The 2 available bedrooms provide a unique opportunity for relaxation. In the traditional kitchen visitors can cook and enjoy a home ready meal. Finally, the terrace offers a unique view of both the village and the tower. The foams of the white wave of the Aegean and the blue of the sky, Cycladic emblematic colors, are reflected on houses' facades. Τhe building materials of traditional Cycladic architecture, the restored antiques and many other original objects of the past are all there waiting for you to travel to the authenticity and the local culture. The house, being located at the heart of the village welcomes you to be part of the everyday life of Filoti, while at the same time offers you privacy for relaxation. You can reach it, either by car or on foot following the alleys that connect the square village to Barozzi tower. We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Total area of the house is 54 m2 consisting of 2 bedrooms, kitchen, and outdoor bathroom just opposite the entrance together with a terrace of 54m2 for endless hours of relaxation

Nous avons passé 4 jours formidables à Filoti. La maison de Kostas est un lieu idéal pour séjourner à Naxos. Maison cycladique aménagée avec beaucoup de goût, il fait bon s’y poser. Terrasse magnifique où nous avons apprécié prendre nos petits-déjeuners et nos dîners au soleil couchant. Kostas est très prévenant et vous prépare un accueil chaleureux. Le bus passe à 3 minutes, sur la place du village, et vous emmène à Appolonas ou Moutsouna vous baigner (prévoir les billets de bus dès le bureau KTEL du port de Chora; pas d’achat dans l’île vers ces destinations). De très nombreux sentiers de randonnées passent par Filoti : ces chemins ancestraux encadrés de murets nous ont ravis et permis de découvrir les beaux villages aux alentours (mention spéciale au chemin 8: d’Aperanthou à Moni) (se munir d’une carte). Il faut aussi prendre le temps de découvrir le village de Filoti. Bref, un très bel endroit qui permet de découvrir Naxos au cœur de l’été en s’extirpant du flux touristique.

Starting from Pyrgos Barozzi and its wonderful fountain, tour the village walking in whitewashed alleys and traditional houses. Panagia Filotitissa with superbly sculptured bell tower, old icons and a finely- crafted marble altar screen will impress you. You will need a car for outings. You can park in the village alleys or alternatively in the municipal car park which is a 10-minute walk from the house.
