I visited Heidi's place for 5 nights. There were 14 of us, from 4 households. We had a wonderful time. The house was large, had spacious bedrooms and common areas, and the pool's air conditioning was a novelty that laid off with the heat wave! Our host gave us many local recommendations, and was flexible with checkin. We highly recommend the house for large families.

We had an amazing time at villa zagara. The villa is equiped with all amenities, is very clean and Cristina, Nico took very well care of us making sure we have everything we need. To sum it up its was an amazing place to spend a week with the family. Big Thanks.

Dear Heidi and Cristina, Thank you so much for everything! We had the best time at Villa Zagara! It is a wonderful place, with everything you can ask for; huge, fully equipped kitchen, wonderful outside space, beautifully decorated big rooms and a large swimming pool. Everything is keept in order and looked after very well! The communication with and the support from the house manager, Cristina, was perfect. We couldn't have asked for more! We had the best family holiday. The Villa is secluded, so one has privacy, and very close to Lecce at the same time.

Wow, what a wonderful experience from start to finish. We spent 5 days with family and friends at beautiful Villa Zagara, full of art and lovely furniture. Each bedroom has wonderful light streaming through it, with lovely views and are super comfortable too. The kitchen is stunning and a joy to be in and use. A professional chef came in to cook for us one night and he looked very comfortable there! The garden and Citrus groves are very calming and great if you want to read or simply need a quiet moment. The huge Olive groves are great to walk in too. The terraces are perfect places to gather to eat, drink and have fun in at any time. Days were spent exploring the Ionian and Adriatic coasts where it is easy to find beaches, rocky spots or diving pools. The pool at the Villa is very private and has a glorious view over the top of an Olive grove into the valley beyond. I can imagine in the real heat of Summer it would be the place to be. In the evenings the kids (teenagers) often went into Lecce, 10mins away. Judging by the time they would come back, they always seemed to find fun stuff to do. We spent time in the stunning baroque Lecce too, lots to see and some great shopping! Our hosts left us a really helpful list of places to eat and things to do. A stunning Villa, I already have very fond memories of it, we will definitely be back!
