The hostel has amazing staff and guests. Big kitchen, quiet rooms and respectful guests. I shared wonderful experiences with other travelers and truly connected with them. From cooking to day trips or simply chilling out. Chris, Maria, Helena, Maximo and the cleaning lady took great care of me, always friendly, finding solutions to make my stay comfortable and helping with local recommendations. I highly recommend the hostel and I miss them already :-)

Ostello veramente carino e ubicato in posizione ottima: vicinissimo alla stazione e con la possibilità di raggiungere Ortigia a pochi minuti a piedi. I ragazzi dello staff estremamente gentili e cordiali. Camere pulite e ben organizzate

Personally, I had a very pleasant stay, was warmly welcomed, supported with various concerns and would definitely come back. The staff was very hard-working and helpful. I was surprised with very clean sheets and a towel and the locker with a key. However, I was quite disappointed in a few things. There were no curtains on the beds and the beds and doors made an incredible amount of noise. I found the bathroom and the showers very unpleasant due to the smell of urine and dirt. In addition, not a single toilet or shower could be locked because the locks are broken. This is an absolute no-go for me. The men's bathroom only has a glass door, so changing was only possible in the wet, dirty shower. Overall, there is not a single spot in the hostel where privacy is offered. Thanks anyway, my overall experience and stay was great except for these points.
