This is the second time we've stayed here and each time it's been perfect. Such a comfy space for family to gather and plenty to do both inside and out - my older kids loved the foosball table and indoor basketball game and we enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the water. The kitchen is well stocked for making a full meal for a large group and the living area has plenty of space to vege and watch movies. Highly recommend Susan's place if you're in town for a Clemson event!

This is really a great spot. The house is clean and well stocked with all the necessities for an Airbnb on the lake. The cove is private and perfect for paddling around on the kayaks. Kitchen is stocked, grill fired right up, fire pit ready to go. Views are beautiful and it’s a great spot for a family or group getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at the Pirate’s Retreat! We woke up to breathtaking sunrises over the lake! Wonderfully appointed Air B&B, everything we could possibly need was provided. The beds were very comfortable, lovely linens and excellent towels! Hope to come back and stay again. Thanks, Susan

This was our 2nd trip to the Pirate House and we had another amazing stay. This now feels like our home away from home! The house is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. Susan is an amazing host!
