This place was outstanding. It was my husbands’ birthday and he was genuinely impressed with it all. We loved the immediate feeling of calm and serenity The Stables offered. The luxury could be felt immediately too. From the skylights to the chandeliers to the hot tub , you can tell they invested in this place to make it feel pristine. The animals were such a joy to be around. They didn’t disturb at all but were curious and friendly when we approached. And who can forget the special touches left for us on arrival - the homemade sweets, apple juice and Prosecco left for us to enjoy. It was honestly one of the best experiences of our lives and we will definitely be back. Oh yeah, the pub nearby also had excellent food so everything is taken care of. And it’s so close to the city that a taxi both ways was very affordable. It was genuinely a dream! Thanks for sharing your beautiful space with us. One can feel the love, passion and attention that went into it all. Keep it up!

Alex and Rachel have created a beautiful, cosy space, we loved the huge bed and the jacuzzi. The homemade cakes and the delicious apple juice from the farm were the cherry on top. Would 100% recommend it!

We arrived to a view of hills and a wonderful greeting from the animals. Bruce the turkey is really something and such a character. We had the most amazing stay. Beautiful surroundings. We found it totally relaxing, amazing walks and 3 superb pubs within 5 mins,10mins,15 mins. The accommodation was first class and spotless. The Prosecco and homemade cake was a fantastic touch. The hot tub was spotless and worked perfectly. The transport links are excellent and just a 15 minute walk from the main. Although you would you think you are in the middle of nowhere. It’s so peaceful and calm. We will definitely be back in the future.

Fantastic place to stay. The stables is like home from home, Alex has thought of everything from delicious cakes to prosecco and apple juice on arrival down to any essentials you may need for your stay, it has it all. We had a great weekend and the picturesque surroundings and all the animals on the farm was the icing on the cake. The stables is not to far away from idyllic local towns and pubs. We will definitely be returning.

Brilliant accommodation, as described. A perfect place for a getaway. Lovely surroundings and having the alpacas and birds added a unique touch. The hosts were extremely responsive and attentive. Honestly couldn't fault it and would recommend.
