This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Four Sisters Bothy and it was just as good the second time round as it was the first time. Sally and Mark are always very friendly and approachable. The bothy is well equipped with everything you need, including walking guide books and leaflets of things to do/places to visit. Overall, it’s just a beautifully executed bothy and I would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Galloway and Dumfries.

It was amazing. Sallys instructions about how to get there were perfect. Bed was super comfy. Riley dog loved the underfloor heating. Highly recommended.

Hi, I'm Sally and I live at Four Sisters with Mark, our 4 girls , Spice, our terrier and our Pekin free range chickens. We have lived near Thornhill for 20 years and bought this derelict barn 10 years ago to do our self build. We are all keen runners, mountain bikers and outdoor swimmers. We are also nature lovers and have over the past few years, been developing our wildflower meadow and fruit orchard, which we happily share with our guests.
