Superbly maintained accommodation in a beautiful area of Vancouver Island. Lots of wildlife around to see, and close enough to attractions, shops and points of interest to enjoy. Well-stocked kitchen to cook meals with, even a BBQ for the nicer days. Would wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation, and Joanna as a host!

Each window was like a masterpiece into the true Nature of the outdoors. From the big dipper in the sky to the little details on the coffee tables, everything about our stay brought joy and peace to an already wonderful wedding vacation. While we saw no bears, we were bear-y comfy in our home away from home.

We were warmly welcomed by Jon, who offered loads of great insider tips on where to go and what to see. The place is calm and cozy, and it feels like you're sitting at the edge of the forest looking out on the late. Jo and John are amazing hosts.

From the initial booking through to the end of our stay everything was excellent. The unit is very well equipped and extremely comfortable. And the view was exceptional. Will definitely book with Joanna again on our next visit.

The home and layout is perfect for two couples. Plenty of space and privacy.. my son and his girlfriend were in the downstairs bedroom and they had their own full bathroom and my wife and I were in the loft bedroom with our own full bathroom. We love to cook so one of the reasons we chose Joanna’s place was the fully equipped kitchen! Lots of windows in the living area to capture the vistas and gorgeous sunrises. The house was extremely clean and well organized. The beds were super comfortable.. great sleep every night after spending the day outdoors & hiking. We loved what the Ucluelet area had to offer ( even in the off season). An easy 40 minute drive up to Tofino was an attraction for us .. Tofino has a different vibe and just as great! Thanks Joanna for sharing your home with us .. we loved it! 🥂
