A great stay while attending a reunion - good location for access to Fontainebleau centre and the campus. Philippe and Murielle made me feel very welcome.

Le séjour chez Murielle et Philippe a été parmi mes meilleures expériences sur AirBNB ! Leur maison est d'une beauté extraordinaire, toute restaurée et décorée par leurs soins. Vous y trouverez des meubles et objets de décoration incroyables ! Surtout pour les amateurs de l'art nouveau. Une bibliothèque avec des livres anciens complète le plaisir. Les hôtes sont très accueillants, les discussions avec eux ont été très intéressantes. La chambre où nous sommes restés est très grande, claire et calme. On se réveille avec les chants d'oiseaux, et la grande fenêtre donne sur le jardin. Le lit est comfortable, tout est là pour un séjour parfait. Le petit-déjeuner est servi dans la salle à manger qui est éblouissante, je veux dire, on a l'impression de déjeuner dans un vrai palais ! Nous avons tout simplement adoré et allons revenir ici.

My host family has been very nice and kind to me, and the property was exceptionally clean and new. You can enjoy an open-plan roll-top bathtub together with a partitioned shower booth, which to me the most enjoyable part of the suite! It feels the guests are provided with a 5-star home spa. The king size bed is big enough consisted of two separable twin beds. I liked the particular 19-20th century style items and textiles of this historic family house, full of wonderful items and objects of curiosity everywhere. Mostly reflecting the home owners' particular collection tastes, in the most refreshing French art-deco style. There are also three big, brown chickens pecking at the back yard, a nice peaceful view from the main window, free ranging, which looked like a fairy-tale countryside in an idyllic French setting. Fontainebleau is a peaceful place with many things to enjoy, especially the chateau and its enormous gardens are the timeless legacy where you cannot see just in a single day. I recommend the visitors at least a week's stay (also definitely with a good pair of shoes) for the full trip with maximum enjoyment. :-)

Murielle and Philippe welcomed us warmly in their beautiful house decorated in a warm Art Nouveau&Art Deco style. They were very flexible catering to all our requests. The house is in a quiet area, while being within a short walking distance of all important locations in Fontainebleau - chateau, downtown pedestrian area, restaurants. We had a perfect stay, looking forward to go back!
