Ken & Carol are excellent hosts and make you feel at home from the first step inside the door, couldn’t have asked for better hosts. The room we stayed in was perfect and didn’t leave us wanting anything more, bathroom was spotless and the heated floor was a dream. 10/10 would stay here again and always will whenever I visit Chester in the future.
Thank you to Ken & Carol for welcoming us into their home. You do feel like you have your own apartment. the house is very stylish and beautiful inside and out. I would not hesitate to go back and recommend everyone to stay here. The breakfast was superb in the morning and the hospitality shown by both ken and carol was to second to none. Thank you
Absolutely amazing hosts and such a lovely environment to be around. Ken and Carol's place is beautiful and so many facilities with all the latest mod cons. Ken was a really nice guy to and such an insightful person. Really knows his stuff and even fixed my glasses which I totally appreciate. Would definitely recommend The Stables. We have a cosy home with four rooms available (One of which is ensuite, another is a fully self-contained studio apartment the remaining two access a private bathroom) in a pretty, rural village called Higher Kinnerton, which is just inside Wales and a 10 minute drive in to the beautiful, historic city of Chester. I am semi-retired and live with my wife Carol. We've worked, lived and travelled in many countries and find that being a host on Airbnb brings a little bit of the world to our door. If you enjoy a comfortable and private stay but may also like socialising and open spaces, you'll fit right in. I have designed and built all of the features in our home and combined ideas, materials and technology we've encountered on our travels; comfortable beds being at the top of the list!
