We had such a lovely stay at this cottage! Jennifer was very quick at responding and was super accommodating for check in and check out times. Easy to find the place and perfect location with great views of the Loch. Had an amazing welcoming with cold prosecco, fresh eggs, and delicious homemade brownies! There was 5 of us and 2 dogs. The space was perfect for us and had all the essentials and then some! The enclosed garden was also great for the dogs. Several walks around the area and also short drives to food and other scenic locations for exploring. We had a fantastic stay and highly reccomend! Many thanks!

We loved our stay here. Jennifer was really friendly and helpful. Location is extremely beautiful. We brought our own stand up paddle boards and although there is no direct access to loch there is a great spot opposite the islands to launch from. We were lucky enough to see seals and dolphins which was amazing. Be prepared this is a remote location though so either bring supplies or be prepared to drive 20mins to nearest shop, although you can order online at COOP and have it delivered, which we did. The week flew by and we were gutted to be leaving so soon. Would also highly recommend a meal at The Oyster Catcher, dog friendly and good food, although you need to book in advance. We don’t tend to return to same air BNB twice but would definitely consider this place.

We spent three nights at the lovely Cedar Cottage. Jennifer the host left a nice welcome gift at the cottage. There is almost no traffic on the street leading to the cottage. Therefore it is quiet and you can completely relax. The house contains two bathrooms which is very handy if you have children. The Maclachlan Castle (ruin) can be reached in one hour walk or in 10 minutes by car. If you are looking for a nice, clean accommodation in a spectacular location away from the tourist hustle and bustle then this is the place for you.

Such a beautiful place, we had a great stay for a few days. Cottage is very comfortable and cosy with absolutely stunning views of the Loch. Great base for exploring with good pubs and restaurants within easy drive. Jen and Nigel were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We’d love to stay again !

Absolutely lovely Jen and her husband were attentive to us, and made all the instructions clear and detailed. The cottage is true to the photos and description, very clean, tidy and cosy. The setting is magical and there are many things to do in the middle of nature. It is a place to recharge your batteries and it is good for the soul. We want to come back and will always recommend it. Many thanks both of you, Jen.
