The Stacja Wierchowa is a recently opened, comfortable, modern and fully equipped mountain house and a plot for the exclusive use of guests, the architecture of which resembles traditional Podhale huts. The cottage is located on a ridge, at an altitude of almost 1,000 meters above sea level, among the sparse buildings of the village of Brzegi, 1 km from Bukowina Tatrzańska in the buffer zone of the Tatra National Park. The location aguarantees stunning views of the mountains and crystal air. Stacja Wierchowa is intended for the exclusive use of non-smoking guests. We are open to small and well-behaved dogs. Where will I sleep? Stacja Wierchowa covers two independent apartments that comfortably accommodate 4 adults plus two children. We have extra beds, so it is possible to stay up to 6 adults plus 2 children. The lower apartment is for 2 people. It is a living room connected with a large, well-equipped kitchenette, dining area, corner sofa bed, fireplace and a large 55 'smart TV. The living room has panoramic windows with a sliding exit to the terrace. The upper apartment is a large and high space for 2 to 4 people with two panoramic balconies, a large corner with a fold-out bed, smart TV, round table and a micro kitchenette (fridge, kettle, plates, cups, etc.) What will I eat? - we have a comfortable kitchen (hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, capsule maker, pots, plates, cutlery, glasses, etc.), so you can conveniently prepare breakfast and cook dinners, - for the more comfortable, local restaurants deliver food, we are also within reach of local pizzerias, - we also have an intermediate option - our friendly hosts prepare great dumplings, croquettes, pelmeni, and even bake cakes, in our village there is also a shop with oscypek and other regional specialties, you can order fresh bundz. What will I be doing? A great place to laze and look at the mountains with a cup of coffee or tea in your hand. Other activities are also available: on site (at the house): - fast internet with two smart TVs with Netflix, TuneIn radio and Spotify muse, - a panoramic terrace and two balconies with chairs, a comfortable sofa and a garden bed, - fireplace, grill and wood supply, - outdoor dining table and benches, - books, board games and puzzles, - a large, green lawn to lie down and look at the sky, on the trail: - trails in the Tatras (we are close to Morskie Oko), Magura Spiska, Pieniny and Gorce, - you can start your trip right at the doorstep of the house, - wide meadows and cavernous forests, hills and ridges around the house for shorter and longer walks, by bicycle: - we are right next to the Tour de Pologne route, - almost flat bicycle routes in the Nowy Targ Basin, - a bit further the route around Lake Czorsztyńskie and along the Dunajec River (Velo Czorsztyn and Velo Dunajec), on horse: - there is an equestrian center in Bukowina, - organize intimate trips to the surrounding mountains and glades, over the water: - the Białka River at the bridge in Brzegi - comfortable places for swimming and sunbathing on the stones, - the catchment area of Białka and Jaworowy Potok on the border with Slovakia - a beautiful little-known bathing area, - the Białka gorge near Nowa Biała, the Kramnica and Obłazów rocks - a convenient place to cool down and walk, - a bit further, Lake Czorsztyńskie - above it several beaches, pubs and two mountain castles, - Dunajec River Gorge - rafting, pontoons or canoes for the stronger, - Termy Bukovina, Termy Bania, Termy Szaflary etc., sightseeing: - Zakopane attractions (from the parrot house and butterfly house to the Witkacy Theater), - Nowy Targ - an intimate slow town, the opposite of Zakopane, - unique medieval wooden churches in the Dunajec valley (from Łopuszna to Grywałd), - the only two mountain castles in Poland, Niedzica and Czorsztyn, - brick churches of Polish Spisz, - more beautiful Szczawnica and Krościenko, - Slovakia (10 minutes by car) - Kieżmark, Tatranska Lomnica, Poprad, Spiska Stara Wieś, Osturnia and many others, art: - Jerzy Duda Gracz painted his paintings in Brzegi, it is worth looking for his paintings, - on the opposite ridge, Maria Nurowska wrote her novels not so long ago, - beautiful ceramics are being made in Galeria Pomurnik, - performances of folk bands and artists can be seen in the People's House in Bukowina, - in summer, popular bands play in Bania in Białka, - jazz, rock, folk bands play in Owczarnia in Jaworki (it's a bit further), you can watch great performances at the Witkacy Theater in Zakopane, on skis: - all nearby ski stations within a quarter of an hour's drive (Jurgów, Bukowina, Kotelnica in Białka, Czarna Góra, Małe Ciche), - for the more ambitious Kasprowy, - for enthusiasts close to alpine conditions - Tatranska Lomnica (three quarters of an hour by car), - ski tours already behind the fence, or in the Tatra Mountains.
