Location is very central and walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Pub across the road is now closed so isn’t noisy and can currently make use of their free parking. Only downside was not having a blind for the bedroom window. Apart from that it was a great place to stay and we had a lovely weekend!

Myself and my partner had a lovely stay at Otter's Pocket over the Easter weekend. The property is cosy and really tastefully decorated. We immediately felt right at home and had a lovely evening there, as well as a nice lunch the next day at one of the pubs down the road. The location was actually really quiet and peaceful, the only things we would change was the lack of blind on the bedroom skylight and the handwash/washing up liquid was in short supply so we went to the shop to buy our own. Michael was always helpful and responsive! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here to others.

Otters Pocket was a great place to stay with great links surrounding the local area. Michael has been a great host, very responsive and I’ll be more than happy to return whenever visiting Blandford.
