Me and two friends booked this property for a getaway but unfortunately did not have a good experience. The lockbox code given to us was wrong so we couldn't retrieve the keys and phone calls to the number associated with the Airbnb host could not get through. We ended up climbing in through a window to get in. Once we got in, the washroom was not properly cleaned, and some of the lights on the property did not work, the beds were not made (no bedsheets/blankets) on a number of the beds. One big problem, was that despite internet being promised, it was not delivered or set up until the evening before we left. The host was very apologetic and gave us a discount, explaining that we were the first guests of the season. The co-host listed in the guestbook, Elena, was much more responsive. the Internet, once set up, worked well. The lakeside view at the property was very scenic and beautiful.

Cottage is perfectly situated on Honeoye lake south end. Calm. Peaceful. Nature. Couldn’t ask for more. Cozy little cottage brings you back into the 70s vibe. We really enjoyed our stay. Clean place too. We saw a bald eagle fishing for dinner from the living room. Close to Naples and the village of Honeoye. Host Pam was super responsive from time of booking and all throughout stay. Thanks for a nice family vacation!

Happy Days Cottage was perfect for us! We felt our stress leaving us as soon as we arrived. We liked being at the end of the lake - less busy! Cottage is clean, kitchen is well-stocked, bathroom is updated & clean! Cottage is furnished with a mix of family treasures & furniture that adds to its charm. Pam is friendly & quick to respond! She has a basket of brochures from local attractions and we did explore some (loved Lynnie Lou's Ice cream & Irish Mafia Brewing) but mostly we were content to fish from the dock & enjoy the view! Loved seeing so many birds (eagles & ospreys) and other wildlife. Tom, the neighbor in yellow cottage next door, is friendly and shared some of the lake's history with us. West's ShurFine Market is nearby if you forget anything. Try their homemade maple blueberry breakfast sausage - it's delicious. We stopped on our way home to take a bunch with us. All in all, we had a great stay and Pam was a super host. We would come again! Kerry & David Cheektowaga NY
