Perfect quiet retreat just situated outside of Montepulciano overlooking the city. The view is impeccable, the service personable and all the amenities including the delicious breakfast - all exemplary. Our hosts, Igor & Nathalie have thought of every detail and I can fully recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed.

The pictures do not do Igor and Nathalie’s place justice! Not only is their property beautiful, but they are truly the most genuine and thoughtful people. They provided great recommendations for wineries, restaurants, etc. in/near Montepulciano, but nothing could beat our dinners on property. Everything we had of Igor’s was top notch and we can’t forget to mention Nathalie’s bread! Highly recommend staying here.

Our stay at Stella di Monte was a dream!! Our room was gorgeous, with every detail thoughtfully planned. The view of Tuscany from the terrace is unreal. Both dinner and breakfast were phenomenal… Some of our favorite meals from our 10 day vacation. The room was very quiet, and less than 1 mile from the heart of the town. We highly recommend!

MAGICAL. There are not enough words to express the magic of this place. Igor and Nathalie have something truly special here, and their passion and kindness shine through every detail of this most perfect blend of Tuscan rustic charm and 5-star hotel accommodations. My husband and I were lucky enough to serendipitously stay here on our honeymoon. I cannot think of the last time a place ever exceeded expectations, but this gem is a MUST. If you've ever had romantic fantasies of a charmed Tuscan getaway, this is where you get to have that experience in the most genuine way. The photos do not do justice to the incredible views of Montepulciano. The bedding, bathroom, rainfall shower (with readily available hot water and water pressure which are sometimes hard to come by in Europe), charming decor, superior bedding/bed and towels, are nicer than 5-star resorts we stayed! Often when breakfast is included, you anticipate something very basic, or perhaps a continental breakfast at best. Igor is a star, and we had the best breakfasts during our 3 week European stay with him! We opted to do the dinner there with the gorgeous view at sunset, and can honestly say, his meal was up there with our Michelin meals without being overly fussy, and a true homage to the Tuscan region (many of the herbs/vegetables are from their own garden, and when we asked about the delicious olive oil, they humbly told us they had made it from their olive trees)! Even if the place did not speak for itself, Igor and Nathalie are just the kindest and most generous humans. They were kind enough to show us their cellar (we didn't get to have dinner there on this visit, but will keep in mind for the next) and pictures of the property when they first purchased it, and WOW! They've done a spectacular job in its restoration. Nathalie was kind enough to give us suggestions of local tours and experiences, and was even able to get us into last minute bookings for wine tour (highly recommended for the experience) and local pig farm. This was truly our favourite place our entire trip! In fact, my usually non observant husband even asked Nathalie for the scented votives as he was so keen to maintain a "scent memory" from our stay, and luck enough, she just got a refill delivery our last night, so a souvenir for us to have at home. I truly cannot say enough about this place, and the price point makes it seem too good to be true, but we are SO glad to have taken this leap of faith and are already planning our return trips to bring our parents to this special place.

J’hésitais entre plusieurs chambres car elles me plaisaient toutes. Pour ce séjour, j’ai essayé Pagnotta del Diavolo et Degli Artisti. Elles étaient très belles toutes les deux… la vue depuis Degli Artisti est plus haute, et la ville historique de Montepulciano semble beaucoup plus proche qu’en photo, c’est magnifique. Mais la terrasse devant Pagnotta del Diavolo était très agréable aussi : une petite chaise longue à l'ombre d'un cyprès, devant la vallée avec un petit verre de Rosso de Montepulciano, que peut-on vouloir de plus dans la vie ? 😊 Le petit déjeuner à la carte était au delà de mes espérances. Les hôtes étaient agréables et disponibles. En bref, je reviendrai au plus vite !
