This little house by the sea is MAGICAL! There is nothing better than hanging out on the screened in porch with the ocean breezes, sound of the waves and the endless nothing but sky and water view. We played games as a family, with plenty of room for everyone to hang out in the comfy wicker chairs, and we ate our meals on the outdoor porch table. We all swam right off the rocks in front of the house- it felt like our own private ocean. The house is very old but that is what makes it so totally charming. It is freshly painted and spotless. The kitchen and bathrooms are great. The beds were all comfortable. We are hoping to come back for much longer next summer. Thanks for hosting us Cat!

This house is obviously well loved. Had a wonderful stay at the Connecticut cottage. Loved the historic charm and unique details in each room. The open-air porch was perfect for dinner and evenings. Cat provided all essentials for a comfortable home away from home. Keep in mind, no AC in mid-summer, but plenty of fans were supplied. The stairs to the upper floor are a bit steep, but sturdy rails on both sides help. Highly recommend for a quaint getaway.
