Great little get away spot. Would be perfect for a family to stay.

Very clean, beautiful location, house was right on the water. Screened in porch perfect for enjoying the mornings and evenings. Great space for everyone to spread out.
Amazing location, idyllic views of Lake Michigan, our stress melted away immediately. The hosts were so welcoming and answered all our questions quickly. They have outfitted the house with everything you might want: fully equipped kitchen, beach towels, sand toys for the kids, even bug spray (we actually had a pretty bug-free visit, but this is the U.P -- you want to be prepared!). Our party ranged from age 2 to 94 and we all had an amazing time. (The oldest of us slept in the main floor bedroom because the stairs up and down are fairly steep). We spent much of our time on the screened-in porch reaching and watching the waves, or wandering at the water's edge, splashing and picking up rocks. We also made ample use of the firepit at night. The lake was calm enough on some days that we were able to do a little bit of kayaking; there's also a sandy beach a short drive away. Definitely would recommend highly.
Great place to stay, except for the internet being very slow.
