This is a special place. The home is relaxing while having enough to stay busy with. So many places to sit & stare, read, or just be present. From the upstairs bedroom window, living room chairs, or the various places outside (near the propane bonfire, chairs on the deck, chairs on the dock, & the seats under the gazebo with the great speakers, heat lamp, $ bbq grill). It is also well stocked w/ what you would need to cook, towels for various activities, & the games to challenge one another with. I’d say the only drawback I can think of is that the basement can become very cold, but I learned how to combat that between the fireplace, portable heater, & wall control. Lake Goodwin is a calm lake so we were able to use the kayaks at some point everyday. We’d love to visit when it’s warmer to be able to actually swim around. The water is clean w/ not much overgrowth in the area. It’s close enough to pretty much any shop/store, but felt far from the city w/ adequate views for stargazing.

Great place for a weekend getaway from the city! The home was lovely and filled with many things to, including the arcade, volleyball court (we could not find a ball though), kayaks, SUP, hot tub, firepit (gas), and a beautiful lake. The place was spacious and clean, making for a pleasant trip with friends. Marcel was very nice and good at communicating. I recommend going with 6+ people and splitting the costs for the most fun and efficient trip.

O lugar é melhor que a foto , tinha todo o cuidado com o hóspede , um lugar incrível para descansar e curtir a paisagem maravilhosa. Nossas crianças divertiram muito e pudemos aproveitar nossa estadia ! Eu vou voltar com a toda certeza

We hosted our annual staff retreat with our ladies and had the most relaxing time. We took out the kayaks and spent time on the lake, there was so much to do at the house with the hot tub and other amenities. The kitchen was perfect for hosting and cooking meals, and the layout was great for 7 people since everything is spaced out well. Will be back next year!
