Our idyllic cottage on the lake offers peace and relaxation in the midst of nature. There is a private terrace where you can enjoy the beauty of nature. There is also a fireplace and a fireplace. Here you can both relax and do a lot. As a fisherman you have just as much fun as a cyclist or hiker in the forest or on the numerous trails. The cottage is designed for four adult guests and offers them very comfortable accommodation. If you move closer together, you can accommodate up to six guests. In the bedroom there is a double bed with 140cm width, as well as a loft bed with 100cm. Two guests can snuggle on the folding couch in the living room. Additional mattresses and a baby crib are available. The kitchen is fully equipped and should anything be missing, we are happy to help out. The fireplace in the living room provides cozy warmth even on the coldest winter nights. Electric heaters are also available. From the terrace you can see the hills and the lake. Washing machine and dryer are NOT available in the guest house, but can be used in the landlords' residence. Per machine we would like to have 25 sec for this - of course including detergent. On the private terrace there is seating and a barbecue, in the garden is a fireplace with benches and tables.

Dirk and Nadine were amazing hosts. When we arrived it was -18 degrees outside, so Dirk had made sure to warm up the house for us and already put new firewood next to it so we could have a relaxing first evening. Also we arrived a bit later than planned due to the winter weather but it was no issue. They were ready to help us if we needed and provided us with good walking routes and info on what was safe (Dirk had actually drilled a hole in the ice of the lake to check if it was safe to walk and skate on, which is super cool!) and they recommended us to get a sleigh ride with husky's just up the road which was definitely a highlight for the trip. If you want a quiet get away I really recommend you to stay here. Everything we could need was right there and the area is beautiful.

We were welcomed by a glowing fire to keep us warm on a cold and frosty evening. In the morning we saw just how beautiful the place was. Dirk was amazing, Very kind, extremely helpful and patient considering our very late arrival.

Dirk and his family are some of the most friendly people you’ll meet. They welcomed us into the cabin with big smiles. The cabin is basic, but that is to be expected from a cabin in a rural area. Great that towels etc. are included.

Pure nature!
The guest house is located on a plot together with the owners' home. Since the garden is very large, but you can go very well out of the way. For a nice conversation, however, we are happy to have.
In the immediate vicinity are two lakes where you can go fishing or walking. Canoeing, cycling, swimming, skating or ice fishing is also possible. In the surrounding area there are several groomed cross-country ski trails and also ski resorts.
There are so few cars here that you can safely let animals and children run around outside.
The nearest supermarket is 16 kilometers away, as is a doctor. The big city of Sundsvall offers all kinds of amenities and activities.

Free parking can be found on the property directly in front of the guest house. There would also be room for up to two motorhomes.
There is a CEE 16A socket for charging electric vehicles.
